His farewell from the sport in January 2018 couldn´t have been better. In front of ´his´ audience and in the most impressive way Taloubet Z won, at the age of 18, his last-ever competition: the World Cup leg in Leipzig. It was a historic moment befitting only the greatest to take their farewell in such style! Since that day Taloubet Z´s life has undergone drastic changes. He returned home to Stud Zangersheide where he can fully concentrate on his career as a stud stallion. Breeders from all over Europe rewarded the stallion by committing their best mares to be covered by him, which probably makes Taloubet Z Europe´s most-in-demand show jumping sire of 2018. But the party for Taloubet Z wasn´t over yet because in September his former rider Christian Ahlmann triumphed in the prestigious ‘Sires of the World’ on Taloubet’s son Take a Chance on Me Z! Everything has come full circle, Christian jumps from Taloubet Z´s saddle into his son´s saddle and the breeders get a chance to use their beloved stallion in breeding!
