A new black pearl has been added to the illustrious collection of Zangersheide stallions. Rob Roy vd Bisschop Z was sold for a record sum at the Woodland’s International Sales in 2021 and is now available to Zangersheide breeders thanks to a unique partnership between his new owner Pieter Devos and Stud farm Zangersheide. The Olympic medal winner himself visualises a great future for this extraordinary talent:

‘Rob Roy Z was purchased for a sum of money we don’t usually spend on a youngster, but this stallion was so special he had no trouble convincing us!’ Devos explained. ‘We studied him very closely and soon established that this stallion possesses the qualities I need for the contemporary sport. So we also bought him with a view to becoming a future Grand Prix horse. An exceptional stallion like Rob Roy deserves every opportunity in breeding. That’s why I’m really pleased to enter this partnership with Zangersheide for his stud career!’
