Ansingh de Lis Z was purchased in August 2022 after his tremendous performance in the Blom Stallion competition under Bart van der Maat. Christian Ahlmann took over the reins in September and started this terribly promising Aganix du Seigneur Z son at the World Championship Young Horses in Lanaken. The pair excelled right from the word go, didn’t touch a single pole throughout the championship and ultimately secured a 4^th place in the final! Christian Ahlmann describes Ansingh de Lis Z as being of a different calibre ‘Ansingh de Lis Z is an ultra sporty stallion; he is fast, sports lots of blood and capacity as well as fantastic technique. I believe this young stallion can bloom into a proper star. It is extremely rare to find a youngster with the qualities Ansingh de Lis Z has, so we are genuinely over the moon to have him in our yard!’ Ansingh did not inherit that quality from a stranger, his sire Aganix du Seigneur Z has ranked as one of the world’s top sires for years. Dam Isabella de Lis is a sister of the 1.60m horses Uppie de Lis (Hayley Waters) and Henk van de Pol’s Willink.
