Comilfo Plus Z son Landon jumps to a second place in Wellington!
In addition to the many international shows on European soil, this week there is also an international show in Wellington International, the formerly Palm Beach International Equestrian Centre. There, the American rider Kent Farrington managed to deliver a brilliant performance yesterday with the 9-year-old chestnut gelding Landon, a son of our chestnut stallion Comilfo Plus Z and Quadrillo, who was born as Crack de Nyze Z at the home of Breeder Danny Nijs.
In the CSI3* 1.55m Grand Prix qualifier, Farrington and Landon were one of eight combinations that stayed clear in the basic round and so qualified for the jump-off. In that jump-off they again managed to ensure a clear round and with a finish time of 40.51 seconds they finally had to tolerate only the Israelian lady rider Ashlee Bond (Donatello 141).
